MPSN, MBA, the Managing Director of BAS Consulting is a Pharmacist who had his B. Pharm from the prestigious Obafemi Awolowo University, Ife (formerly University of Ife) from August 1974 – June 1978. He is an Alumni of New York University, New York, where he obtained his MBA in 1982.

He is an enthusiastic, positive, energetic committed and highly dependable person with leadership, managerial, communication and organizational skills.  Passionate about leading, motivating and developing others to fulfill their full potential.

Consultant, BAS Associates is an enthusiastic individual with well developed team-working, communication skills, excellent organizational and leadership skills.

He is a graduate of University of Ilorin and later University of Ibadan where he obtained Bachelor of Engineering and Master of Science degrees respectively. He is also a Scholar of University of Reading with Masters Degree in Mechanical Engineering specializing in Renewable Energy and The Environment. He is a graduate member of Energy Institute, UK; Institute of Environmental Management and Assessment, UK; American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME), USA and also Nigeria Society of Engineers (NSE).

He has experience in Design of Energy systems especially Renewable Energy Systems, Project Management; Feasibility studies (Technical and Commercial) and Business development which he garnered over time while working with Manufacturing, Telecommunication and Power Industries in Nigeria.

James attended training on; Design of energy systems, Grid and Off-grid connection, rural electrification from: Dulas Limited, Machynlleth, Wales UK; National Grid Company Wokingham UK, Centre for Alternative Technology, Machynlleth, Wales, UK; IT power, Basingstoke, UK and Solar Century London, UK.

James worked with PowerCap Limited as a Consultant; Engineering, Design and Construction where he played active role in bid documents compilation, EOI preparation, technical and commercial feasibility studies for IPP plants worth US $250 million. He was also member of the faculty for the Power Business School with specialization in Energy Management, Design of Energy Systems, Renewable Energy and Carbon Management.

He is presently Consultant with BAS Associates Consulting in charge of Renewable Energy Services and Renewable Energy Technology Capacity Building Programmes.
